What do we do?

Tickled Skink is a unique company combining music, movement and animal handling for the pleasure and amazement of young and old alike!

Tickled Skink focuses on some of the most beautiful habitats of the world and takes the pre-school and foundation stage child on an imaginitive journey through Rainforests, Deserts, British Countryside, garden, sea, African Safari and caves!

Older children also enjoy the sessions and love holding our range of exotic pets! There are holiday specials available for children of all ages!

Tickled Skink are based in Leicester, but cover the whole of the midlands and beyond (travel costs apply)

General Information

Example of the full two hour exotics party:


45 minutes of singing, story, puppets and other colourful props, followed by and hour or so of live animal handling! You choose the theme (Rainforest, Desert, British Countryside, Garden, Sea, African Safari or caves. Or choose our special christmas or Easter session)! Gift for the Birthday child included on some options.


Tickled Skink have a range of exotic pets native to the habitat themes above, all friendly and used to being handled by the youngest of children. This is an animal party with a difference!

How long does it last?

Our partise tend to last 2 hours.

How old do i have to be?

Our parties taget children from 2 years of age upwards.

What venues do you use?

Tickled Skink are based in Leicester, but cover the whole of the midlands and beyond (travel costs apply).

We travel to a venue of your choice

How Much does it cost?

Parties start at just £40

Please note that we charge 40p per mile round trip travel expenses
from LE18 which will be added to the party fee with the
exception of the two hour Exotics party, where travel is included if
the party is within Leicestershire.

1. We recommend that you gives us as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. The kids really do love our parties.
2. Don't forget your camera. A Tickled Skink party is a guarantee of great photo opportunities.
