What do we do?
At 18,000 square feet the venue is the largest in Sheffield. The Play Arena houses both indoor and outdoor play equipment, much of it for the first time in the UK. The needs of children and their parents/carers have been carefully considered and this is shown in the range of activities and facilities on offer;
For children: excellent indoor and outdoor play, coordinated activities, child friendly facilities. Play facilities include baby area, toddler area, huge play frame, large snappy crocodile, kart track and skyrider.
For grown-ups: a high quality cafe and coffee bar offering cakes, pastries and meals made with seasonal ingredients on site using the best and freshest ingredients, Wi-Fi, newspapers, comfortable seating, great staff and the confidence that children are safe and secure.
For celebrations: purpose built party rooms and a range of basic and themed party packages with food, activities and a Play Arena party leader.
For safety: the latest play equipment and design certified as complaint with the British Standard BS 8409 code of practice for indoor play centres.

General Information
When you have a party at the Play Arena, it will be a special one. It will be a party that will excite and delight your party guests no matter what their age and leave them with memories to cherish.
Each of the varied party packages has been carefully created to help you and your party guests get the most out of your visit. An exciting time of the best play and adventure is followed by exclusive use of one of our atmospheric themed party rooms. Our party host team is always on hand to help ensure every aspect of your party goes according to plan.
Party packages include baby/toddler, disco and kart. The Play Arena is also available for exclusive hire from six till eight each evening.
After all their adventures on the different play events, your party guests will need good food to get their strength back. Each party will be served a choice from our party menus which we can tailor to cater for all your requirements. Guests can even make their own pizzas!
As we strongly believe in the family unit, parents are not forgotten either and every package offers several options of parent platters or meals from our well stocked Arena Cafe to help you get your strength back too!

- Play Arena SheffieldThis is a family entertainment centre with a difference. It's obvious from the moment you walk in. The place is enormous and has so many things! It caters very well for children of all ages and had even made special provision for babies. The staff are welcoming and the place is immaculate. Several features that I haven't seen anywhere else made sure my boys never got bored and we had to drag them out. We all had lunch which was clearly made from scratch and was head and shoulders above any offerings I've had in other centres. The chips were to die for! Had a struggle to make a choice as everything sounded fab. Go-karts, hurricane machines, a special area called Comfyland for learning through play and every toilet with baby changing makes this by far the best play centre I have ever visited! The location just off Abbeydale Rd means we will be regular visitors. Truly excellent.
