What do we do?

Simply Skate Arena is a unique inline roller skating facility in the heart of Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We house 2 specialist indoor roller skating rinks, a cafe, bar, childrens party area with bouncy castle and a retail store.

Our activities range from public roller skating sesions, beginner inline hockey lessons, birthday parties, private and corporate functions and kids fun days, there's something to suit everyone.

Whether your a regular skater or a new customer to Simply Skate, we'll guarantee you will be back, it's so much fun for all the family.

General Information

We have birthday party packages to suit all ages from tots to teens !

Our packages are tailored to cater for your every need, we provide the party bags and a cake (except teen party) and you have a dedicated party host throughout to give your child a special birthday with us.

Alternatively you could hire the whole rink for your own party. Private hire parties are a great way to celebrate any occassion ! With private use of our skating rink and skate hire included all you have to do is bring your friends and family. Bring up to 75 guests to skate to all the latest chart music, we'll also have our video wall on and all the disco lighting so it will be a great party atmosphere !

Why not have drinks in the bar after skating as it is thirsty work ? or something to eat ? we can provide the buffets and your group can party the night away !

When are you available for parties?

Read through our party packages available and phone 01709 830011 to book, we have parties available everyday of the week but they are very popular so avoid disapointment and reserve your day now !

How Much does it cost?

We have a cariety of different party packages ranging from £7.50 per head up to £9.50 per head subject to a minimum booking of twelve people.

1. Xite Night - Friday 8-10pm
   
   Cost £2.50 admission
   
   This is our 'hottest' session, aimed at teenagers and adults once a week Simply Skate hosts the 'Xite Nite' with a lively club atmospehere its THE place to be on a Friday night.
2. Dont forget we offer Skating Lessons:
   
   Skating lessons are a great way to learn forwards, backwards, turning, stopping and all the skating techniques ! Work through Levels 1 - 7 and gain certificates as you pass.
3. Beginner Hockey
   
   If you fancy a go at inline roller hockey come down on a Monday night 6-7pm. Our qualifield hockey coaches will teach you all the basics of inline hockey. The first lesson is FREE.
   
4. School Holidays - Daily session 11-4pm
   
   Cost £3.50 admission
   
   During every school holiday we open all day ! Sessions are open to all ages. Our cafe is also open so you can get lunch or a coffee and a cake whilst here.
