What do we do?
Parties for children aged 4 to 12
With Russ's and Malcolm's ability to cater for all ages, the music, games, competitions and non stop fun is geared around the age of the children at the birthday party, school disco or other event.
We will arrive at your party venue around 3/4 of an hour before the party to set up. Has the children arrive we will play music, chat and introduce ourselves to them.
The Birthday Child is always the star of the show at a birthday party. All activities will be centered around that child.
We organize everything, incorporating within the party all the popular tunes the children want to hear, and dance to, together with classic and our own games and competitions. The format is in keeping with the age of the children.
We do not just stand there playing inappropriate music, with no chat, while the kids run riot like a normal DJ, we are fully interactive with the kids.
Because so many children have been to our parties, we like to treat each party different so they do not know what to expect.
We not have a set routine, one of the many skills in entertaining kids at a disco is to know when to play the right music, the right games or the right competition at the right time!
Many parents cannot believe an entertainer can keep children happy, and content, for two or more hours. Unlike others who would welcome the relief break, you do not have to with us, we like the undivided attention of the kids throughout the party!
Also unlike others, we even entertain the kids while they are having their meal break.
When do we do it?

Where do we do it?
Being based in the midlands Russ and Malcolm are in a good location to cover most areas of the West Midlands.
General Information
There is a vast difference between what a 4 year old likes and a teenager. This is where a lot of the skill, in entertaining children, comes in. No two parties are the same, We assess the children up to see how they are reacting to the program of events, then adjust the format accordingly. This will be a combination of dancing, games, competitions and music to suit the age group. There is no set format every party is different. Unlike an adult disco DJ, who just stands and plays music with little or no chat, we are interactive with the kids, We do not play inappropriate, or music with explicit lyrics. We feature dance routines and give the children instruction on the dance moves. if the occasion is a birthday party, the birthday child is always the center of attraction

How old do i have to be?
Four years to 12. Most younger children do not understand simple instructions, they are usually very shy and timid. We also cater for the adults at the appropriate occasions. For young children we recommend our bouncy castle with the disco.
What venues do you use?
A church hall, village hall, scout hut or community center. An ideal venue is best empty and self contained, the smaller the better. Do not book a large room or hall. Function rooms etc; are not good venues for a children's party. Please avoid party rooms upstairs or in basements. We do on occasions play at parent's homes, these are not ideal locations for various reasons. If you are stuck for somewhere suitable, tell us your area and we will offer a few suggestions.

When do I need to book the party?
As soon as possible, being the most popular specialist children's disco in the area we are very busy, especially at weekends. We have to disappoint many parents, and schools, who don't give us enough notice. -
How many children can I Invite to the party?
Parents are under the assumption they must invite the whole class. An ideal number is around 20. If there are too many children it ceases to be a party and it is more like a school disco. -
Do you do Joint parties?
Yes, this is a good way of keeping costs down, you can share expenses with the other parent. However, it is important that the children know each other or they will be shy and embarrassed with strangers.
-
Do I need to provide anything?
Just the venue, food and children. We organize everything, provide the entertainment, effects, sweets and other goodies, you can sit back, relax. -
Can I have the party outside?
Although this may sound a good idea, it is far from it. Unlike a magician the disco effects we use are useless outside. Then there is the weather!!!
