What do we do?

Potterdoodle is a mobile pottery painting studio that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. Whether is capturing a baby's first footprint, a child creating their first masterpiece or friends relaxing together designing their own unique pot or plate, we come to your choice of venue with everthing you need for a truly enjoyable occasion. Our paints are totally washable and non toxic and all we require is access to water and a table large enough to comfortably accommodate the painters.

1. Do I need any artistic ability?
   
   We are often asked if you need to be artistic to paint our pottery and the answer is, quite simply, no. Painting coloured squares or dots onto a mug can look fabulous and we have plenty more creative ideas too.
2. How do I look after my pottery?
   
   Once the items are glazed and fired, they are fully usable though we do not recommend putting them in a microwave. Whilst they are dishwasher safe, if you treasure your item, it would be preferable to hand wash it to.
3. Are the paints and glaze safe?
   
   Safety is of paramount importance to us. The paints we use are lead-free, non-toxic, water based and "child-safe" so are suitable for even the softest baby skin.
