Musical Monkeez

What do we do?

Musical Monkeez is a well established business working all over Tyneside and Northumberland. We work in schools, nurseries and with Sure Start delivering music and movement sessions and provide a children's party and disco service.

Musical Monkeez is led by Alisar Taylor, who is fully qualified and experienced, and works to ensure that every child has a great time, learns through music and movement and is included no matter what their skill level or ability.

Music and movement sessions are planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage as a guideline. All nurseries and primary schools have to use this in all their classes. This means that sessions have to be flexible and support the development and learning of each child through a quality experience. We also follow Every Child Matters, which is a government agenda looking at five different outcomes for children. These are:

Being healthy
Staying safe
Enjoying and achieving
Making a positive contribution
Economic well-being
Our parties are fun filled with dances, props, fun games and a fab disco system. Children enjoy our pompoms (even boys love them!!), laser ribbons, parachutes and magical bubbles and dance to our many dances including High School Musical for the girls and our super hero dance that all the children love!! The party child receives a special t-shirt as a reminder of the day and all the children will love our fabric pens to write and draw their own messages on our fabric for the birthday child.

General Information

3 years and under

We provide a magical party of music, dance and games. We will bring the magic of our musical monkeez music sessions to your own party. See the exitement in the little ones faces as they dance to our lovely childrens songs with our lovely props i.e parachute, pompoms, streamers, floaty scalves, bubbles and have fun making music with our instruments. If you want a theme then let us know. This will be your little ones special day. The birthday child will also recieve a Musical Monkeez t shirt as a special gift from us.

3 - 10 years

A fun filled party filled with dances, props, fun games and a fab disco system. Enjoy our pompoms ( even boys love them!!), laser ribbons, parachute and magical bubbles and dance to our many dances including High School Musical for the girls and our super hero dance that all the children love!! 11- 16 years

This group likes to feel they are growing up so we provide them with the cool alternative that all their friends will also enjoy. We provide a larger disco system and light show that is sure to please. We can play the latest chart songs with a mix of party dance songs too.

We can cater to a particular theme if needed i.e Mama Mia party, prom .You name it we will do it.
