What do we do?

We provide costumes for all types of events – fancy dress for parties, costumes for Musical Theatre and Pantomime productions, Corporate events, Themed Weddings, TV projects and magazine and photo shoots. As our costumes are hand-made they are all of good quality, cleaned after EVERY hire and are available in ALL sizes.

When do we do it?

How long do I have the costume/s for?
Customers normally only require costumes for a weekend so a Friday or Saturday collection is typical, with all costumes to be returned by 5.30pm on Monday (Tuesday if it’s a Bank Holiday). However, we often have costumes out at a variety of events weekends and so on where the hire is slightly longer. Just ask when you visit the shop if you think you might have difficulties and something can always be arranged.

Where do we do it?

We have a busy shop in Woodseats, Sheffield on the A61, with free parking on the street.

In most cases, hiring is cheaper than buying, and you get better quality and accessories included in the price.

We make great new costumes every day in our busy workroom. We are currently working on retro and modern kids' TV favourites, new superheroes and new fairytale and film inspired costumes, with many more to come. New photos are to be added in the galleries over the next few weeks to show off our new Spring 2011 collection. As always, 60s and 70s themes are very poular for us so we have plenty more costume and footwear additions suitable for both new and regular customers alike.

How old do i have to be?

We have costumes in all adult sizes. We don't generally do kids' costumes, but we do have some Victorian, Tudor and Gangster costumes that are used for school trips and other events.

How do I book a costume?

If you try something that you want to hire for an event, you will be asked to pay the full hire charge. Upon booking the costume will be saved for your event. This means that you will receive the costume as you tried it, so there is no chance of any damage in the meantime.

The pricing for differing outfits vary so please enquire within the store.

How can i pay?

Do you have to leave a deposit?

Yes. All hired items require a fully refundable security deposit to be left on collection. Deposits start from £25 depending on the costume.

1. Please ask if you are planning a party, wedding or Corporate event and need us to dress all of your guests.
2. Get your costume booked early!
   All of our costumes are hung ready to go at short notice, but we like to offer the best service, so the more time you give us the more we can do for you.
3. Ladies: Wear the right underwear. A properly fitted bra and Bridget Jones pants will transform your figure.
   
   Guys: Think Simon Cowell. A lot of period trousers are high-waisted and look far better when you have them pulled up!
4. Show us what you are trying on. Some customers get 'shy' when it comes to showing us what you are trying on. But be assured if we think it doesn't look right we will tell you - we want our customers to go out looking their best!
