What do we do?

Climb Newcastle is Newcastle's first dedicated indoor climbing centre. Located in Byker, close to the City Centre, the centre is one of the most extensive facilities of its type worldwide. Climb Newcastle has something for all ages and abilities... Introductory sessions for both adults and kids make it easy to get started in this exciting sport.

When do we do it?

Every weekend, and every day during school holidays.

Where do we do it?

At the Old Byker Swimming Pool, 1 mile from Newcastle City Centre.

When are you available for parties?

Every day of the year. Except Christmas Day because we'll be playing with presents.

How long does it last?

An hour of climbing, with optional half hour to bring food/cake in our cafe area.

How old do i have to be?

You'll need to be at least 3 years old, and we do parties for all sorts of ages.

What venues do you use?

Our parties are run in house.

How Much does it cost?

General Unsupervised Entry Prices

Adult: £6.50
Concession: £5.50
Junior (U16): £4.50
Non-member: entry + £1.00
Annual Membership Fee: £3.50

3 month pass: £140 adults, £120 conc, £100 juniors
12 month pass: £380 adults, £320 conc, £280 juniors

Shoe hire: £2.50 (£3.50 pro)
Chalk Hire: £1

Rock Stars Kids Sessions: £5pp
Birthday Parties: £8-10pp
Foundation Sessions: Adults £12.50, Kids £5

How can i pay?

Cash, or we have one of those card machine thingies.

1. Come check us out... We are open 12-10pm weekdays and 9-8pm weekends and we're always happy to show you around.
2. Don't worry about your feet... We include shoe hire in all of our prices to make sure you are wearing the correct footwear to enjoy the sport. And so that you look cool!
3. Don't pack the flask... We serve a whole variety of coffees and tees, mocha, cappuccino, latte, macchiato? We can handle them all.
4. Watch out for special themes... Every school holiday we run themed kids climbing lessons to keep the fun fresh!
5. Get independence... Want to bring your child in without a coach? Our introductory sessions cover the basic safety and climbing skills for you and your child to come climbing unsupervised any time.
