What do we do?

In our stunningly beautiful café and garden we serve 'no junk-no gunk' meals, individually prepared and brought to you on our own painted crockery. We can usually offer gluten and dairy free options. For a break we serve piping hot freshly ground Fair Trade coffee to order and the full range of teas, additive-free soft drinks and organic wines and beers.

However, Cobbles and Clay the Art Café also offers pottery painting. We provide you with a choice of unglazed pottery shapes which you paint to your own design. We then glaze it in our kiln for you to keep.

So you can come to eat, drink, paint or buy some painted pottery - or any combination of these!

You will remember your visit to Cobbles and Clay as something very different and very special.

General Information

Cobbles and Clay is an ideal venue for both children's and adult parties.

Children's Parties
Painting pottery is ideal for a different kind of children's birthday party. And no clearing up afterwards - we do that - and the painted pottery which the children have created takes the place of the dreaded party bag!

We take bookings for children's parties either with or without food.

Adult Parties
Painting pottery is great fun to do for a birthday party, work party, Christmas party or for any other reason. We have the further advantage that we are 'licensed' and carry an impressive stock of organic wines and beers.

With prior booking we are happy to open in the evenings.

How Much does it cost?

Please call to discuss your prcise requirements.

1. We realise that some visitors to Haworth may not be able to collect their completed work the 3 - 4 days later that it takes to glaze in our kiln. For this reason we provide a postal service. We safely pack your work and post it first class.
2. Cakes and treats are always on offer here at Cobbles and Clay, we have gluten free and dairy free options in all the time so please ask. Our amazing chocolate brownies have been adapted to be gluten free.
3. At Cobbles and Clay you can purchase a Gift Token (available denominations of £10,£15 and £20, but other can be prepared by request ! ) for a friend in the form a painted pottery shape.
