What do we do?

What is Airsoft?

Airsoft guns fire 6mm plastic pellets (or BBs) at low speeds (between 100 and 300 feet per second or 30 to 90 meters per second), fast enough to feel, but slow enough not to hurt.

So, what is Airsoft Skirmishing?

Airsoft 'skirmishing' (also know as Airsoft skirmishes), is great fun, and can be enjoyed by anybody, regardless of size, or gender. If you have experienced Paintball, then you will know what sort of scenarios to expect, but if you want to know more, if you are completely new to this sort of thing, then you've come to the right place.

It can be played as a team sport, or all-against-all.

We run games that are realistic to combat situations. Scenarios may include defending a gun-pit, taking an enemy bunker, searching for pilots who've been shot down, defending military hardware.

Cerberus Airsoft is run by a team of ex British forces personnel and Airsoft enthusiasts. Our aim is to provide you with a challenging and rewarding Airsoft experience, whatever your age or background, we cater for new or experienced players alike.

When do we do it?

We run events on Sundays normally and we can do Saturdays and weekdays if required.

Where do we do it?

We presently operate 4 sites, our main site is a 600 acre forest near Bradford, West Yorkshire and is set in a 600 acre forestry plantation near Keighley in the heart of Yorkshire. Set on one of the highest hills in the area and backing onto Ilkey Moor the site sometimes seems to have it's own micro climate and offers many new challenges to players of all standards. The view from the plateau is incredible, on a clear day we've seen a power station 43 miles away, it's a tough climb to the top though.

The site has some steep slopes, many rocky areas with some huge boulders, roads, tracks, streams, caves and trees, millions of trees.

We also run events at a sandstone quarry in Bradford, a woodland site near Sheffield and we'll soon be opening a new urban site in Leeds.

  1. Airsoft is similar to Paintball but without the mess. You won't get covered in paint but it can hurt a little bit when you get hit by an Airsoft round.
  2. You must supply your own boots with adequate ankle support. Trainers, shoes and carpet slippers won't be much use to you on slippery surfaces.
